Emulsion sticking to images, etc.

Post by Shawn »

I'm having issues with emulsion sticking to everything when trying to expose images.

Is this a sign of using too much, underexposure, etc?
Is this emulsion not mixed enough? I've been keeping it in fridge sign I got it to keep it cool.

If your emulsion is sticky then it's probably underexposed?
Will it fully cure? Expose a drop for ages & see if it loses it's stickiness.
Are you drying it properly? (v. common failing).
It could have gone off?

I think my exposure box is not strong enough.
I keep trying over and over...always promising results, but no gold.

Get a dehumidifier, your problem is humidity.
Every screen room should have one, relative humidity above 45% is a screen printing nightmare.
