Printing on Reusable Grocery Bags

Post by Empire1985 »

Hi I have been screen printing fo a while and this is my first bag order. The bags appear to have some sythetic fiber in them. My problem is they melt in the dryer. I have my dryer set to 375 degrees farenheit. Any help would be much appretiated.

Thanks,
Scott

I'm not sure exactly what type of bags you are printing on. I do know that in the past for some bags I have had to turn the dryer down to 200 (I think, may have been 150) and slowed the belt down dramatically. The heat isn't as high, but the bag stays under the heat for a longer amount of time. Then the bags have to be laid out in the air for about 2 minutes, or they will all stick together.
